Dr. Ann Nwabuebo is the owner and founder of Body Connect Physical Therapy (BCPT). She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Arcadia University in 2004. She is recognized as an expert in the field of pelvic health as a Board Certified Pelvic Health Specialist (WCS).
Ann also specializes in chronic pain management, pre/post partum health, LGBTQ+ health and injury prevention. With 20 years of experience, Ann has served her communities in a variety of clinical settings on the East and West coasts. She has worked in prestigious institutions like Moss Rehab and Kessler Institute, as well as private outpatient clinics including her own. She has also developed and run pelvic health programs at Agile Physical Therapy HQ in Silicon Valley (the preferred PT provider for Google); Kaiser Permanente (Dublin, CA) and Palo Alto Medical Foundation (San Carlos, CA).
Ann hosts several community based seminars throughout the year with her partners at Google, Stanford Health Care and local birth centers. She also offers mentorship opportunities to students and women/ minority owned entrepreneurs, to nurture their growth in this specialized area of healthcare and entrepreneurialism.
She founded BCPT with a mission to provide compassionate and comprehensive care with longer and more hands-on time. She draws from her personal experiences (as a former pelvic pain patient herself and a working mother of two) to fully support her patients in their journeys towards health and wellness – mind, body and spirit.
Ann has lived in four continents across the world (Africa, Asia, Europe and North America), and currently lives in Leesburg, VA with her husband, her 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, music, yoga, and meditation.
