Do you accept Insurance?
We take the following insurance:
- Medicare
We are currently out of network providers with other insurance. Although payment is required at the time of service, a ‘Statement for Insurance Reimbursement’ will be provided which you can submit to your insurance company. We recommend that you contact your insurance company in advance to find out what your out-of-network benefits are.
What is the cost and duration for treatments?
For office visits:
- Initial evaluations: $250 for 1 hour
- Follow up sessions: $220 for 55-mins
For Virtual PT sessions:
- Initial evaluations: $250 for 1 hour
- 30 min follow up sessions: $125
- 55 min follow up sessions: $220 for 55 mins
For virtual wellness sessions
- 30 min wellness sessions: $100
Payment of sessions is kindly expected at time of service.
What should I wear to my sessions?
Please bring your physician’s prescription for Physical Therapy. If you should have any reports for a surgery or diagnostic images, please bring those as well. In terms of what to wear, In order for us to effectively assess and treat you, skin-to-skin contact is important. Loosely fitting shorts, a tee shirt, a sports bra / tank top and/or underwear, are all appropriate to wear during your treatment sessions..
What is Telehealth Physical Therapy (PT)?
Telehealth or virtual PT refers to PT services provided over a technology platform (computer, phone, tablet) rather than in person. With remote access and flexible scheduling, we are happy to offer this as a fast and convenient option for your care.
Will Medicare cover telehealth visits?
Currently, Medicare is not offering reimbursement for telehealth visits. However, in light of COVID-19, restrictions are being lifted. We are able to provide virtual sessions for established patients (vs new patients) who are medicare recipients. Patients are required to pay at time of service at a discounted rate of $100/ 30-min ($180/ 50-min sessions) after signing an ABN form. What if I am not in California for the telehealth visit?
If you are located in California, Washington D.C. or Virginia, we can provide virtual PT sessions. If you live outside of these states, we may still be able provide you with additional support. Please contact us with your information, and we will follow up with you.
What can I expect in a telehealth visit?
- ❖Make sure you’re in a private area with some room to move around.
- ❖Make sure all browsers are up to date and you have a strong internet connection.
- ❖Wear clothes you can move around in (tight skirts or shirts can make it hard to get full motion).
- ❖If using a phone, make sure to have something to prop it up against.
- ❖Devices you can use include most iOS and Android smartphones and computers (be sure to use the most updated versions)
Do I need a prescription for my telehealth visit?
California state law allows patients to have direct access to physical therapists. What this means is that you can now receive physical therapy, even virtually, without a physician’s referral/prescription.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations. Our fee for late cancellations is 75% of the session’s cost.
